Rod Engelen died on Friday, February 8th in Phoenix of complications from a stroke. He was 80 years old. His was a rich world of old colleagues and friends, shared ideas, and warm communication and he will be greatly missed.

Rod continued to be optimistic about our ability to address societal and global problems in a timely manner. His focus on fundamental issues, principles, and core values is his legacy. And much of the material supporting that legacy is on his mixedusecores website. As is the case with so much in our lives, his website is not complete; but he recognized that it likely never would be.
